Jaide

Disney's Hollywood Studios
September 28, 2017 by Matt Spangard

There must be hundreds of Disney photographers throughout the parks on any given day. Some you notice and some you don't. On our last trip to Hollywood Studios, there was one photographer that you couldn't miss. As we were leaving during a lull in the afternoon, Jaide was absolutely owning Main Street, posing with her hands on her hips right in the middle of it all. I imagine most photographers would have been happy for a few minutes of peace but she was showing everyone exactly what a great Main Street photo could look like rather than waiting for somebody to approach her.

The Hollywood Tower Hotel

Disney's Hollywood Studios
April 29, 2017 by Matt Spangard

The Tower of Terror must have been one of the most ornately-designed ride exteriors when it was originally created. It may have set the standard for the modern-day amusement ride. This is the back of the Hollywood Tower Hotel and you can see that they didn't stop at an impressive façade — they went all the way around, making it an icon for Hollywood Studios. It's looking like it has aged a bit over the years, but it just gives it an even more authentic feel to it.

The First Order

Disney's Hollywood Studios
April 27, 2017 by Matt Spangard

The March of the First Order through Disney's Hollywood Studios is a tremendous spectacle for a Star Wars geek like me... and just about everybody else who visits Hollywood Studios. I mean, nearly everybody calls the entire place Star Wars World for a reason. That Indiana Jones show is cool but Indy represents the past. Star Wars is the future... albeit from a galaxy far, far away.
