F1 is Back! Go Ferrari!

F1 is back! 

This weekend, F1 kicks off the 2017 season in Melbourne, Australia. I hope Valterri Bottas does well at Mercedes — he has big shoes to fill. I know I'm going to enjoy seeing him on the podium a lot more than his predecessor! 

That said, I'm still going to be cheering for Ferrari with Seb and Kimi first and Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen second.

I think this is going to be the season that Ferrari and Red Bull finally catch up to the previously unstoppable Silver Arrows. I hope that new Ferrari air intake system works as well as it looks!

Gumball 3000 Team Galag

If the Gumball 3000 awarded a "best ink" award, it would go to Team Galag. Hands down. Check out the detail on this 458 Italia.

deadmau5 Purrari

This was deadmau5' ride in the Miami2Ibiza Gumball 3000 rally. 

Only deadmau5 could take a perfectly good 458 Italia and improve upon it by wrapping it in Nyan Cat and replacing all of the logos with jumping cats that look suspiciously like Puma logos.

Personal note to deadmau5 — if you're out there and reading this and need a copilot for next year's Gumball, let me know :-)

In honor of the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix today at Circuit of the Americas, I bring you the mighty Ferrari F40. This was taken at a pit stop of the Cannonball Run-inspired Gumball 3000. 

Sure, it's Lewis Hamilton's race — and season — to lose but why not pull for the "underdogs" at Ferrari? Go Sebastion & Kimi!
