Harambe Drum Party
I could go to Disney World and just hang out in Harambe Village all day long. It's alive with the constant beating of drums as threads of other live music are intertwined throughout the streets as you make your way around. These guys were throwing a drum party out on the main street. They know how to draw a crowd! If there are similar — but more authentic — villages in Africa like Harambe, I need to book a trip. And I have a good feeling there are.

Accordion Man
These guys were the house band at Charlotte's Oktoberfest celebration at the Waldhorn restaurant last year. As always, the music, food and beer was great!
I pulled this one out of my archives because I was setting up a new TV antenna this weekend (buh-bye Time Warner!) and came across one of the secondary digital channels for a local PBS station that was playing the Lawrence Welk Show! That show instantly brought me back to the early 1980s, watching the Lawrence Welk Show with my grandparents at their house. It's neat when unexpected sights, sounds or smells bring back such vivid and happy memories :-)

Joseph at Tiroler Hut
Tiroler Hut is a fantastic Austrian restaurant on Bayswater in Kensington, London. The legendary host, Joseph, is the star of the show and would be a one-man band if it wasn't for his yodeling lamb puppets.
