Family Life
Baby elephants remind me of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. The younger they are, the older they look. This little one was playing in the water with his mom on the Kilimanjaro Safari and seemed to be having the time of his life.

Harborside Suites at Little Harbor
Happy Friday! The days are getting warmer (unless you live in Colorado) and the weekend is almost here — I hope you'll be spending it somewhere sunny and full of adventure. Like on a boat at the Harborside Suites at Little Harbor, just south of Tampa.
We've spent a lot of time at Little Harbor over the years on land and water and I wish I was typing this from one of those patios right now!

Dragon Attack
The fire-breathing dragon that guards Gringott's Bank in Diagon Alley actually breathes fire! I'm sure it took a lot of convincing to get sign-off on giant balls of fire being sprayed out above the crowd but the end result is spectacular.

Turquoise
These are the turquoise waters of the St. Pete Beach area in Florida. The islands in the distance are Shell Key Preserve & Tierra Verde. We took a little stop halfway across I-275, just before the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and were treated to this beautiful view.

Waterfall Lantern
Walt Disney's Imagineers must really love lanterns. All of the Disney theme parks are filled with appropriately-themed, functional lanterns. Not only do they light the way at night but they go a long way in helping guests make that mental transition from one area of the park to another.
This lantern was along the path to enter Ariel's Journey of the Little Mermaid ride.

Hyde Park Garage
Hyde Park Village is a collection of shops and restaurants in the streets running through Tampa's historic Hyde Park. This "HP" logo was painted on a delivery roll-up door.

Improvised Field Bridge
Here's another flashback from Overland Expo East last fall. The Camel Trophy guys built this improvised field bridge to cross this gulch and create a dramatic entrance to the Camel Trophy Expedition Skills Area.
